This excellent edition includes four hundred postcards depicting Santorini until 1956, the year of the last devastating earthquake that hit the island, The majority of the postcards come from the collection of Dimitris Tsitouras. The informative texts, which are included in the publication, are signed by Dimitris Tsitouras, photography historian Alki Xanthaki, architect Voula Bozineki-Didoni, archaeologist Maya Efstathiou, byzantinologist Dr. Charalambos Pennas, volcanologist Dr. George Vougioukalakis and the set designer-costume designer Ioanna Papantoniou.
